Workspaces Overview

DSP Configurator has several workspaces that provide a set of controls for all input and output signal paths inside the main application window. Within these workspaces you can configure and monitor all settings related to audio.

See the subsections below for a description of the workspaces that are available for the DMP 64.

Audio I/O Workspace

In the Audio I/O workspace for the DMP 64, you can access all audio gain, trim, and volume controls as well as audio DSP processors. You can also configure mix-points that connect mic/line inputs and virtual bus returns to line outputs. A secondary mix matrix connects line input, mic input, and virtual bus return signals to the Virtual Bus Sends.

See the Mix Matrix Operation section for more information about this workspace. Also, in DSP Configurator, click the icon or press <F1> from any audio dialog box, to open context-sensitive help and view information about the audio controls and processors.

Console View Workspace

To open this workspace, select Console View from the View menu. Alternatively, press <F5> on your keyboard to open the
Console View workspace. This workspace provides an overview of all input and output activity. From this view, you can access a meter bridge as well as level and mute (where applicable) controls for all gain points.
