It is possible for the data on the MPX Plus 866 A to become out of sync with a file that created the data (for instance, if additional presets are created in Live mode, via the web page, or using SIS™ commands) or for the original file to be lost or misplaced. To create a file that is in sync with the data on the device, you need to run the Backup utility in DSP Configurator.
When you use the Pull Data synchronization method, preset data remains on the device and only the list of preset names is pulled from the device. Recalling each preset individually effectively brings that preset data into DSP Configurator. The Backup utility automates the process, then invokes the Save dialog box to complete the backup process.
Connect the device that you want to back up.
CAUTION: Do not perform this operation during a live event, because all presets are called sequentially during this procedure.
