1. Provide a Pro AV over IP encoder that streams ultra-low latency, high quality video and audio, signals over 1 Gbps Ethernet networks
   1. Rack mountable, one-half rack width, 1U metal enclosure that encodes video and audio
      1. Provide a DTP input connector for interfacing digital video signal input with embedded audio and a loop through HDMI connection
      2. Provide connections for device configuration from a PC or other peripheral
         1. One USB connection on the front panel
      3. Provide one 1000BASE-T RJ45 connector with PoE+ for powering and control and transport of streaming data over CAT 5e/6/6a/7 cable for distances up to 328 feet (100 m)
      4. Provide internal 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz universal power supply for power
      5. Provide 14 LED indicators for status monitoring
         1. Power LED on front panel to indicate power connection
         2. Signal LED on front panel to indicate DTP input signal presence
         3. HDCP LED on front panel to indicate encryption status
         4. DTP audio LED on front panel to indicate DTP audio input status
         5. Analog audio LED on front panel to indicate analog audio input status
         6. Stream LED on front panel to indicate streaming status
         7. Two LAN LEDs on front panel to indicate network link/activity status
         8. Two LAN LEDs on back panel to indicate network link/activity status
         9. ID LED on front panel for visual confirmation of units on the network
         10. Two DTP input LEDs on back panel to indicate DTP input signal/link status
         11. Reset LED on back panel to indicate reset status
      6. Provide an ID button on the front panel to identify the unit on the network
      7. Provide a recessed reset button on the back panel to revert unit back to factory loaded firmware
      8. Support audio streaming between encoder and decoder
      9. Support streaming of HDCP-encrypted sources to decoders connected to HDCP-compliant displays
      10. Maintain continuous HDCP-encryption between the source and encoder
      11. Support Extended Display Identification Data – EDID and Display Data Channel – DDC data using the EDID 2.0 standard
      12. Support use of EDID values defined by the user, supplied by a locally connected display or stored values captured from previously connected displays
      13. Support standard video resolutions including: 720p, 1080i ,1080p, UHD (3840 x 2160), and 4K (4096 x 2160) @ 60 Hz
      14. Support computer video resolutions from 640 x 480 up to 4096 x 2160
      15. Support HDMI embedded and analog stereo audio
      16. Support 30-bit, 10-bit per color encoding and processing that maintains 4:4:4 color information throughout the entire encode-streaming-decode process
      17. Support streaming of all video and computer-video signals maintaining native resolution from encode to decode
      18. Support streaming of signals at 60 frames per second at resolutions up to 4096 x 2160
      19. Support a low delay, encode and decode process
      20. Provide a video error concealment system which does not increase streaming bandwidth or encoding delay
      21. Support IGMPv3multicast per RFC 3376

      36. Support configuration and control in systems consisting of multiple encoders and decoders from a central networked control unit
      37. Support encoding and decoding video and audio at bit rates adjustable from 40 Mbps to 1000 Mbps
      38. Encoder shall be capable of preserving absolute changes to the video on a frame-by-frame basis up to 60 frames per second
      39. Support temporal compression applied on a sub-picture basis examining change that discriminates between luminance, chrominance as well as a threshold for signal or image noise
   2. DTP twisted pair requirements
      1. Provide uncompressed signal transmission distance capability of 330 feet (100 meters) for all supported video resolutions using a shielded CATx cable
      2. Support video, audio, RS-232, IR, and power transmission over a single shielded CATx cable
      3. Shall be compatible with CATx shielded twisted pair cable, and Extron XTP DTP 24 shielded twisted pair cable
      4. Support computer and video resolutions up to 3840x2160/30 at 4:4:4 chroma sampling
      5. Support stereo audio pass-through signals
      6. Shall actively buffer DDC channels
      7. Provide power to remote DTP transmitter connected over the shielded CATx cable.
