Der Extron P/2 DA1, auch 'Der Peaker' genannt, ist ein sehr kleiner VGA-Kabeltreiber mit einem Eingang und einem gepufferten Ausgang. Er übertragt hochauflösende Computervideo- Signale über ein hochwertiges Kabel wie das Extron VGA-Kabel bis zu 75 m weit. Der P/2 DA1 bietet eine Signalverstärkung und Peaking, so dass das Videosignal über große Entfernungen übertragen und mit hellerem, schärferem Bild empfangen werden kann. Dies ist besonders bei Notebooks hilfreich, die häufig ein leistungsschwacheres Videosignal liefern.
